Photos Knives & Guns

Posted this in another thread earlier... this is probably the better thread. Apologies for the repetition.

These plus pets and 2 rifles were among the only things i was willing to evacuate Friday due to the "Colorado Fire." Wind gusts were 65mph. 20220122_092315.jpg

This was the scene from 1 mile behind my place and 700 feet higher. In otherwords my place is in this shot and is why I did the 3 minute pack. The building in the pic is the Mid Coast Fire Station. Get your $hit together... you never know. Eta: it's looking like the house survived.

They are gimmicks for some but I run those tungsten rods with 15lb springs on all my full size Glocks for years and they really help with the muzzle flip and I never had any ammo issues especially when running the cheap white box from Woly World.

Being near Chicago, the wally world's near me no longer carry ammo.

But with the P365 being such a short and small gun, absorbing recoil and reducing muzzle flip is helpful.

The XL grip will be fine because I use the 12 round mags with extension when I carry anyway. I like everything about the SAS except the ported barrel. While it may reduce muzzle flip, I'm not sure the extra flash is worth it. Down the road I may put a regular barrel in it, maybe an upgraded one.
