Just stumbled upon this thread for the first time. Hope it’s not poor form to post multiple pics. These are the pairings/combos I’ve taken to date.

Hoping to get to the range tomorrow to shoot the Hellcat for the first time and decide if I want to mount the Hex Wasp sight before ordering a holster.

I'm feeling rather naked without my gun, but didn't want to hassle with it at the airport. I come here for a week at least once a year, been thinking about buying a gun to keep at my grandma's for when I visit. It is Texas after all.

Chicago probably don’t have reciprocity in Texas huh?

I've taken a gun on a plane once. In 2010. I was down here for a reunion and my grandfather (R.I.P. 2019 age 85) gave me his 1968 S&W model 10 revolver. .38spl, 5 inch barrel. After having stomach cancer, he felt he was too weak to shoot it.

It was amazing as I'm not even his real grandson. He was the only grandpa I ever knew though, and I am the oldest of the grandkids. Very nice gun.

He still pocket carried an NAA revolver in .22mag almost until he died. I almost wanted to bury it.

He taught me how to shoot at age 8 on a .22 revolver, at his bay house. He also taught me how to drive, on his 3spd 1966 International Scout.

It's not the same coming down here without. He was a badass son of a gun until cancer caused him to become frail. He went from 6' 240 to 140 and a bit hunched. He still thought he was a badass though. A guy driving cut him off, then at the light got out to confront my grandfather. He got and yelled "get the hell back in yer car!"and swung his cane at him like a sword.

The cancer came back 11 years later ad bam. Everything I know about guns is either from him or my own research. When I get home I'll post a picture of that gun.
