Ah, but was the "oh my" a threat?

I've come across "oh my" in the woods a few times over the years. That's usually more stuff like teenagers smoking weed or somebody peeing off the escarpment.

Yes. It's a darling little round that unfortunately came out at a very bad time with limited support.

My regular carry load for the LCR is an 85-grain hollow-point. From that very short barrel, they get ~1250fps and expand beautifully without beating up my hand. The real benefit is having a capable six-shooter that can ride comfortably in a pocket holster.

I often switch up to hotter 100-grain loads for the 4" SP101. I haven't chronographed them but the Gold Dots do fun things to water jugs and overripe fruit.

Got a few of my favorites together for a photo. Wilson Combat Experior and WCP320. The 1911 holster is alligator with elephant inlay by Bill Dyer. The knife is a custom by Robert Erickson Knifeworks. The sheath was made by Claude Scott.
