Hi, fellas, this is a recent work, with my TAURUS .40 S&W POLICE 24/7, my sidearm (I'm a law enforcement officer here in Brasil):

The knife is:

Carbon Steel SAE 5160, made by stock removal, full tang, drop point;
OAL: 275 mm
Blade length: 175 mm
Blade thickness: 3 mm
Blade width: 27 mm
Handle scales in "jacarandá" and "formica", stainless steel rivets.

Great looking knife, senor. I like drop points. 5160 is a good choice for a hard use blade too.

175mm is almost 7". IMO that about perfect for a self defense blade, and just about everything else.

Definitely not outclassed. The Model 10 is a classic revolver that has been in service for over 100 years. I would love to own another.
