Recent acquisition. Kel-Tec PF-9 (new) and GOM Italian lever-lock blade (old).
How are you liking the PF-9 ? Does the mag extension help ?

Well, I bought it used with a known jamming issue. I took it to the range and found it jammed every once in a while and also the magazine popped out.

Got a new magazine release (old one was defective) and I'm hoping that fixes the magazine problem.

I also found out the the ammo I was using was too long. Apparently the PF-9 is picky, and this height difference makes a difference...

Both 9mm luger, just different brand. Tonight will be my first night shooting it with new mag release and shorter ammo. I am hopeful.

As far as the gun itself, I love the size and weight, I think it looks great, it has a fairly simple take down and only marginally difficult complete breakdown. I picked it up for $220 and think it was well worth the cash. If I can get it shooting reliably it will be my first CCW sidearm.

The mag extension does help get my pinky on the grip. Without it my pinky slips under the gun. Being so small and light in 9mm makes for a heck of a kick, I'm still not quite used to that part yet.

My meager addition to this awesome thread.

Inspired by the "No Frills" thread, I spent all day yesterday gathering up
materials and assembling a light tent. Here's my first effort, my scratched up
Spyderco Bug and my "mouse" gun a '49 Wells Fargo cap 'n ball that's been
converted to shoot 32 S&W.:D

I'm happy now...was a bit frustrated about picture size after posting but the situation seems to have resolved itself. It's going to take some retracing to steps to figure out just what I did right...I hate it when this happens..:D

Second effort with the new light tent. This brace of pistolas have been my competition pistols for the past seven years, hence their worn look. I scratched them up with a "Magnificent Seven" theme which includes the names of the cast of characters and memorable phrases from one of my favorite movies. The knife was made to my design by Steve Brooks about twenty years ago. I commissioned it about a year prior to our family's move to the last frontier.
