I hope this thread is of interest!! It's about regret!!! I wish I had kept these knives,

I've had many, many knives that I wish I still had, but that's not the same as saying that I regret moving them on. There were always reasons, and they were at least sound reasons at the time.
Hindsight is a lot closer to 20/20 than foresight! Here is an example, a stag #78.

So, possibly like many here, have loved knives for very many years - bought many, sold less.

But moods changes, likes and passions change - I mean, I recall around 12~15yrs ago I was offered some amazing Lanny's Clip customs........but no, they weren't my thing :rolleyes:

Anyhoo..........a few I've sold and regretted

Am guessing you'd possibly never have sold the Downie Bird & Trout.....?

Talking of Canada, there's a trip I did a while back now, took some Harley chums with me from UK, we stayed with a trapper/hunter in Revelstoke - lovely, lovely fella (sadly passed now) - does his name ring a bell......... Dan Boles..?

Shall do a thread on the stay with him - highly memorable, and he had some great knives too.
