Knives I Wish I Had Kept!!

Some nice knives, guys! I understand the regrets!
There's a story behind this, Randy Lee Hunter, that I let go. I don't recall where I bought it; it might have been the bay. I had it for a few years and always admired it, but I had my eye on some other sharp thing and decided to let it go. I posted it for sale, and immediately it was purchased. The buyer told me that he had owned it and sold it years ago and always regretted it. He was so happy to have it back!
I kind of wish I still had it, but I know it went to someone who really appreciated it.

Just want to add, I'm lucky to have been one who has purchased some of your "woulda, coulda, shoulda" offerings! :);)
 
I have 2 knives the I regret selling. Years ago my son was receiving a bunch of therapy, 30+ hours a week, and there were a few of them that insurance would not cover, so I ended up selling a bunch of my collection to fund that therapy. However there were two that standout. 1st was the TC Barlow, I don't remember what they called these scales but they were amazing!!! The second was my ebony Presidential, this one hurts the most as it had been a user and was with me for a lot of the things my son had going on at the time. I still watch for both of these to pop up on the exchange.

Bigger regret are knives I've bought but they disappointed me, yet that's another matter....:eek:;) 🤣

Now due to the tariff circus I can no longer send or sell knives to the USA (including American made ones...) So that's put a (hopefully) temporary block on selling & trading or sending gifts to the US :(

Feel fortunate that the ones I've sold or traded, gifted have gone where they were appreciated , I believe. However, I do pine for this one as I like the Farmer's Jack and the shield & bone of this Charlie SFO were really nice. Well, it had to happen and I know it was relished, unsurprisingly. Cranberry Bone, Diamond Shield, Rat-Tails...just the best!

 
I will dig out a few Charlie but probably impossible to find photos of all of the Northfields that I have gifted to the 11 male members in my extended family aswell as other brands and friends . I would have liked to have kept every one of them but I really am happy to have done it . I have never sold any of my knives .

My regret was getting rid of of the 35 Churchill because of the world becoming discombobulated for a brief but tragic moment.
