Knives & Nicotine, what form do you choose!!

I vape now, but I smoked for many years. Quit 3 years ago, still miss my camels, but I feel so much better now. Working on getting off vapijg but it's kind of a hobby like knives. I make my own liquid, it's much cheaper that way and fun.

I won't ever tell someone to quit smoking or dipping or chewing. Personal choice. I'm glad I quit though, so I can be around longer for my kiddo and my wife! She also quit smoking soon after I did, proud of her!

Right now in knives my newest muse is Borka Blades. My nicotine of choice is mango vape juice, but the FDA stepped in and "shut it down", so I bought up what stock I could afford and plan on switching the just the occasional cigar when I run out. Long time cigarette smoker though. Over a decade.

My day in and day out uses are modern folders and class A cigarettes. They are addicting, getting too expensive, and I'm on my way out from buying them. Or at least I would like to think so. A little bored of both of them right now. I prefer Spyderco's and Camels, but sometimes I do winston's and benchmade's.

Trying to move that addiction over to something new and less damaging like vaping and tradionals. Doing alright so far, and starting to find some stuff I enjoy in both. And both being cheaper over all while also giving me a new experience with both. I would like to quit both honestly but not ready yet.

Honestly I really enjoy fixed blades and pipe, but don't use them often. Not very practical out and about, and don't find the need for them, but at my core that's what I truly enjoy.

Every once in awhile, 1-2 times a year maybe I'll get a keychain/custom knife and a cigar. I enjoy them, but not as much as most people I think. Especially for the price of nice ones.

Switch the knife for a folder, and that's me.

Quit smoking I can understand. Quit drinking I can't, unless you mean not being an alcoholic. Occasional light drinking is healthy IMO. But back to the topic, knives can co-exist with either or both.

Its been so long since I had a drink it doesn't even enter my mind. Wasn't always like that though! A few things convinced me to stop! One was my roommate and bartender at my favorite watering hole gave me a T shirt and it said INSTANT ASSHOLE--------JUST ADD ALCOHOL...... The other was I figured I was allergic cause I was always breaking out in hand cuffs!

Hi buddy J jfk1110
I got into smoking because I’d seen my grandfather and my father smoking. I’d thought that was cool, okay to smoke;)

But later I realized it was NOT cool for me to pass it to my children, hence I willed myself to quit smoking, and actually did on 04/24/2003.
Now I’m only and totally addicted to knives...
I think it’s easier to quit compared to any other addiction:D.... well what ya say Light it up?;):)

Nice Thread brother:cool:

I started vaping about six years ago and quit smoking cigarettes. My lungs are better for it. I am happy that my kids do not use tobacco products.
I tried dipping Copenhagen and I liked the taste of it, but I had to quit because it started turning my gums grey.

currently a spyderco endura and meerkat.....2 cigars a day and I don't get to sit with my pipes anywhere near as often as I'd like to....once in a while I'll chew redman or some levi garret...can't stand cigarettes thou and definitely not a vaper

Well use to be Redman and a Puma Game Warden but those days are way back there. Now just and old Spyderco CO7S Police model that's mostly gray and smooth except for the worn serrations. I no longer smoke or chew though. It's bad stuff and took my brother to soon smoking Lucky's from way back.

I quit nicotine when the kids were born 30+ years ago. Smoked red Marlboros for 25 years. "Cowboy Killers"
Lately I've been enjoying a little legal medical grade cannabis indica in the evening. Helps with the sleep and arthritis pain.
I love good ole Mary Jane too!! Been smoking her everyday for bout 25 yrs now. I save sooo much money now it's legal to own and cultivate in my state!! Just harvested 3 9 footers which gave me about 5 pounds --outdoors!
