I didn't see that specific show but on cody's website they sell the knife he usually uses. It is indeed a mora. I actually bought one after seeing his (but I bought it on amazon, his website is a little bit over priced). I bought the mora classic #1, but it might have been the #2, i'm not sure. they look the same so it didn't matter to me. anyway it is defintly a wooden handle, don't know about daves, but ive seen him packing some serious blades before

Don't know about the knives, but I thought it was pretty cool when they smoked some kind of south american rabbit looking creature out of its hole in a lava field and Dave brained it with a rock!

Cody's knife looks to be some sort of modified steel Mora #1. When I got a good look at it, it almost looked like Damascus steel, or a Mora is some type of unfinished blade, with a finished cutting edge. Dave never seems to carry the same knife... ever. I have seen him with a machete, with no knife, with a small fixed blade, with a large bowie, and those are the only ones I can remember off the top of my head.
