Knives That Have "Bit" You?

This one nics me everytime I touch it.

I count 4 scars on my left hand, two of which required stitches. I'll always subscribe to the theory that dull knives are more dangerous than sharp knives, but damn if those sharp knives don't come up and bite when you least expect it.

I had a Gayle Bradley 2 for about a week. Aside from having disappointing ergonomics, the tip was extremely close to the end of the knife. I cut my thumb just putting my hand into my pocket. The design bothered me so much that I returned it that day.

Let's see, when I first got my mini grip I was fooling around with it and it sailed out of my hand and stuck in my knee, just a scar now. Then, I was playing with my Case single wharncliffe mini trapper and it snapped shut on my left index finger, took awhile for that one to heal. Last but not least, I was rubbing oil on the blade of my new American Lawman and got distracted talking to my daughter. I felt a weird sensation in the tip of my right index finger, almost totally healed up now.

I once was using one of those small pull through carbide sharpeners(it was all I had on hand) while holding it, and the knife slipped and sliced open my middle finger. It bled a lot. And yes I do own whetstones.
