Knives that make you feel kinda dirty...

I'll keep my E.T. Thank you very much.
I'm probably keeping my Kershaw E.T. too, but the funky blade shape and carabineer thumbhole keeps me from using it :p

Bought a Shirogorov clone a few months ago - pretty amazing quality for a sub $30 buck knife. But yeah, I felt a little sleazy when I got it.

I have not purchased any that make me feel dirty, probably because I am a cheapskate. Kudos to you who are big enough to admit you feel bad, it takes guts.

I feel not very well about my Colt 605, which is heavily "inspired" by XM 18, I got it as a gift, but still. I carry it mainly as a "disposable" knife when I know that I may lose my knife or destroy it by misuse and it servers it's purpose surprisingly well.

It's my Liong Mah GSD. When I bought it I had no issue with Reate but recently I've come to believe that even the high-end Chinese makers are too close to, too unapologetic for their dirty pasts -- or even with one foot still in that world -- for me to support them.

A no-name otf auto I got a gun show. The glass breaker/ clip screw broke when I tried to hand tighten it in the car on the way home. It was cheap and I feel dirty but I still pull it out and flick it a few times a week.

Every time a street tweaker rolls into the industrial workshop area and tries to trade a knife for $5 or whatever, I feel dirty after touching the knife to examine it. In a "don't rub your eyes or you'll get hep C" sort of way.

I can see it now, "Hey guys, check out my new knife I got for 5 bucks. I gotta go wash my hands."

Years ago, my old job called for me to come in contact with people that you would not always want to touch. I carried two ballpoint pens. One for me and one for them to keep so I would not have to touch it after they used it.
