Knives that you like but you won't get because... reasons

Could be any reason. Here are some examples:

Example#1: I really like the design and tool set of this Sanrenmu knives. But I have issues with the country of origin and the fact the company steals intellectual property from western makers. So no. That being said I do have one I got before I learned of this forum about their practices and the steel is crap.

Example#2: I really like this design by TOPS but the price for what it is seems too much for me. If I ever find it used or discounted maybe I'll get it but as it is now? No way. I'm too cheap 😜.

Example#3: Anything by Extrema Ratio or Eickhorn. I like many of their designs but their prices are too extrema for me. I don't really need another 300+ safe queen.

I like the simple design of the Kizlyar Supreme 'Vega' with its 440C and micarta scales, which is a somewhat rare combination nowadays.

Nevertheless, I don't like the fact that Kizlyar Supreme uses the name of the Kizlyar town, but they are from a metropolitan city, while Kizlyar the town has their own brand like Kizlyar Knives. It is like the Sheffield super market brand that's not actually from Sheffield the town, or Solingen in name but not made from there.

I'm still looking for a similar knife if anyone has any suggestion by chance.

... reasons
1) Price (a car would really be a more practical choice than this knife)
2) Unobtainium (15 sold via lottery never to be made again)
3) Crap materials & execution applied to a cool design (I call this the CRKT factor)
This ^^^. In no particular order but price is usually my biggest reason. I refuse to pay more for a nice knife than I can buy a nice gun for.

King Tut's meteor dagger. The Cairo museum won't let me have it.

Anything else is fair game. If I like it enough and I can find it, I buy it.
Jokes aside, that reminds me of another example: antiques. There are many antiques that I like but I don't pull the trigger because I feel I will ruin them. Imagine these things surviving 150-200 years only to be ruined by my care or lack thereof.

Right now, pretty much any knife. I've come close with a Fox Core, J E Made New York Special slipjoint, a Lionsteel roundhead barlow, and half a dozen others.

I have knives. I have knives for special occasions, work, doing nasty things that require a cutting tool I'm not worried about fething up, everyday carry, and a couple big chunks of steel for when I feel like carrying something silly. The knives I already own all cut things, I like their looks, there's no motivation to hit the "buy" button.

Lol, you're showing your (and my) age again. Steve Martin, right?
I have the original vinyl including that bit, from like 1986 or something. Was my fathers. Really hilarious.

As far knives I won't buy. CRKT Brian Tighe collabs. Overpriced, poor QC, crap steel. I love many of his designs, and miss my custom. Still haven't been able justify spending that kind of money again.

G&G Hawk deadlock, too expensive, I wouldnt use it.

G&G Hawk external toggle lock, looked cool, forgot to get one, now Kershaw doesn't make them and they are too expensive for a fidget toy.

CRKT provoke. Looks neat, not sure I'd use it. I'd get one if it was cheap.
