I own a Mont Blanc 149 fountain pen, and my dad has many rolexes. I used to want a rolex of my own, but not anymore. My tastes have changed. I figure, if I pay more for something it better not just be of higher quality, but perform better too. I used to think a rolex did perform and was very accurate and reliable. Then I learned that a quartz seiko is not only more reliable but more accurate. That sure saved me a lot of money.
I still own my Mont Blanc. It's a very beautiful pen, but I use a Fisher Space Pen everyday. If I ever find a buyer I'd sell my Mont blanc and buy more space pens.
P.S. Mont blancs really aren't that good. Stick with your Watermans and Namikis.
G. Gorden Liddy once bragged, " I know of ten ways to kill a man with a pen...."
Still laughing from that one.....I can only figure out 8.....One more use for the pen, I guess. Does that mean that the pen is mightier than the sword? I don't think in this context...
