I see you know a bit about reptiles.She is 9 years old...not power fed...she just grew REALLY fast....I have others that that didn't grow like that.
She's just a big girl.

Yea been into reptiles since I was a kid. Took off into an obsessive hobby that returns a little money every now and then. I mainly work with ball pythons but I absolutely love retics. Most people probably wouldnt believe you when you told them that your snake was smart but retics are just different from any other snake, they rock. We have two retics, they are still young but growing fast. Some lines do grow faster than others, in fact the two that I have are clutch mates. They have eaten the same amount of meals since birth yet one is considerably larger than the other.

Would love to see pics of your other snakes if you ever take some.

Retics are an incredible animal.
I have 3...two tigers and an albino male.The big girl...the others are 5 years old.Both are about 12 ft long.I do have an Afrock that is 14ft long.She is semi tame...I can take her out of cage...just not outside in the grass.Then it's a bad attitude.
I also have an albino boa and a normal....


The afrock is very impressive.....
 
Any of you guys know Al Coritz? My wife converses with him (Viperkeeper) every now and again. We bump into him at shows as well, when we need to pick up mice. He basically has a fortress full of hot snakes.
 
I steer clear of hots.....NO room for error.
I get bit by one of the big guys...maybe a few stitches.....I go home.

A bite from a hot.....I may not go home..ever.

.... nope that is a pair of Coastal Taipans ... :eek: :eek: Snake season has started very early here, been in the news the last couple of days, lots of Common Browns and Red Belly Blacks being removed from homes, unseasonably warm weather has them out and about around a month early.
 
Is that your pet or is that red belly randomly around and about your place? That's a perfect Busse marketing shot! Busse, sharp as hell, don't get bit!
