Knives you don't hear much about that other people are missing out on

A couple of past companies come to mind, the REKAT Carnivore folder that I think is superb, at least mine is, and a current company, First Edge. I own three of the folders they produce and have owned there fixed blades, and ARS by Alex Shunaria(sic?), his original folder in BG42. Now if you want a slip joint folder with a pocket clip look at the RUIKE L11B about as fine as a basic slip joint folder can get in my opinion. Wish it had better blade steel but for the price and bang for the buck type thing it fits the bill perfectly. keepem sharp

Anyone said ADV yet?
Andre De Villiers makes some pretty cool stuff!..
His designs are neat, but given the issues members here have had with buying from him, I wouldn't touch any of his stuff with a 10 foot pole. Do a search for him in GB&U and, well, caveat emptor.

But back on topic, the late, great A.G. Russell has some fantastic designs that are, sadly, underrated in the knife community.

And the Jerry Fisk Sandero Classic from White River is probably my all time favorite fixed blade. Gorgeous design and great utility.
