Knives You Like Enough to Own Spares?

Have you have ever had a knife that worked so well for you that you had to have more than one of them? Anymore you will find me with a Ray Laconico custom or a Fallkniven pretty much all the time. I just can't get enough of either. The Fallkniven F1 just seems to work so well for me that I have somehow ended up with 4 of them. Even my wife likes them.

I am sure that a lot off us have some knives that are so great that we keep identical spares on hand (moras!). Post them up!

Sebenza, MOD CQD, Spyderco Military, Camillus CUDA Maxx, Opinel and Douk-Douk variants. Mostly I don't like getting 2 or more of the same basic knife because there are often others similar enough I'd rather have the slight variety.

Hmmmm....I don't have any duplicates yet. I keep buying then selling trying to find the perfect one for me. Thankfully I haven't found it yet! This is half the fun!

I would also like the Cold Steel clip point Voyager more if it had a better pocket clip. I think the clip is too stiff so the knife is hard to remove from the pocket

For me, it's the Delta 5 series of kits from Darrel Ralph. I find the overall size and shape to be just right, and they combine a thick spine with a great slicing blade. I have made four of of them, with the last one (contoured handle with black G-10 scales) coming pretty close to being my ideal hiking knife.

I have several Mora 760's stashed in various places. The only other dupes I have are from where I bought a knife for myself that my wife liked, so I got her one too. (How can you not?) That's happened twice now.

The only EXACT duplicate I have is the SAK Farmer. But some very similar Opinels and slipjoints. I used to have 3 Himalayan Imports Tin Chirras.

I'm too poor to own spares, and there are too many different knives to get. The only knife I'd really like to have a spare of is my Spyderco Mini-Manix. That is a good folder. As far as fixed blades, I suppose it wouldn't be bad to have another Breeden Peacemaker, but I don't foresee that blade ever getting damaged with my use.

I dont have any exact duplicates. Multiples of the same thing mean I couldn't have as many different blades. I guess it will all change when I find "my precious"
