Knives you plan to hang onto...

I have no plans to sell any of my knives. I may give some to my kids over the years.

The ones I currently have that I won't give away are:

1. Fiddleback Forge "custom" Bushfinger. Perfect for me in so many ways.

2. CRK Small Sebenza - I took this one on a ton of trips with my kids. Too many memories.

3. Ka-Bar USMC Fighter - I carried this one for a big chunk of my military career. I have long since retired it, but it's nice to have.

I have one to two more knives I plan to sell, then I have my perfect assortment of knives and will probably never sell one again. Unless I find myself not using one. I only keep knives I use, so if I find I am not really ever using a certain knife, it will be kicked out of the herd.

This is one I have kept in my pocket for more years than I remember...

I'll be selling every knife I own once they get fixed up. Everything either is designed to fit the makers hand only or is just not enjoyable.

I'm probably not going to sell my TR4

I'm not going to sell the Nyala, GEC 73, or Sebenza.

Everything else will be given away as appropriate.

I'm done selling. Have downsized big time last few years. NOT FOR SALE:

Benchmade 710 M2H2
Spyderco Manix 2 C.F. S90V
Spyderco PM2
Spyderco Sage 2 Ti
Leatherman Charge Tti
Ontario Rat 3.5 inch 1095 Carbon Steel fixed.

I'm good for many years ahead!

I was looking at my current group of modern folders the other day, trying to decide what to sell. Much to my surprise, the only easy answer was my Gayle Bradley... I've never liked that thing. Nothing else is on the chopping block, right now; but that doesn't mean I'd never sell them.
If things became desperate, I could face some tough decisions.

There are a lot of knives I wish I had kept or been able to keep, but when it comes down to it, none of them are irreplaceable. I'm currently in a bit of a hard spot, recently separated from my wife, and I found it good every now and then to sell off most everything and remind myself that it's just a hobby and that I control the hobby, it doesn't control me. If that helps me salvage my marriage, it will be a good trade. There will be more money and more knives in the future.

Just so you know, I'm the head of a home for wayward Gayle Bradleys.
Just trying to help. :)

Once my cancer gets to the point where each day is filled with nothing but pain, and there is no hope for improvement...everything goes. Except my Glock 21 & a couple rounds of Corbon +P. Where I am going, there is no concern for material things.

IMG_4280.JPG Slysz Bowie, Jade PM2, Delica hap40, xm18 custom and a large Ritter grip (which I desperately need upgrades scales for!?...many others I love but would part with if I feel money is needed for a new venture.

WValtakis,

That B.V. Sebbie is tits.
If for no other reason than CR says don't flick, and BV says thwack on that.
Nice job on the timascus (I think I read somewhere was yours).

Must be sweet having such a nice wife ;-)

I have thousands of dollars worth of knives and I've sold thousands of dollars worth of knives. Don't regret one bit of it, because it's great to experience all the different fine blades available.

My CQC-7's and my Zaan are all keepers. Ive got a couple that are on the fence. I always thought they would be keepers, and they probably will be, but if the right opportunity comes along then who knows.

But i am getting tired of selling knives, its too much work, and i already have a job and kids that are time consuming enough. Its a lot easier to just keep buying and enjoying vs. all the logistics and emotion that comes with selling (guns too.).
