Knives you wish weren't discontinued!

Me neither, but I will probably get a custom scale made for it to give it some color.

Benchmade 730 is the best one that I know of. If mine didn't have those stupid notches in the blade it would be my perfect EDC. As it is I don't carry it because I can't stand the mutilated blade.

I like the 913 Stryker and it is one of my favorites.

I like the looks of the 805 but I have never handled one.

The Ares is the main one that I wish were still available. Seeing it next to your Stryker makes me think I should be buying a 908 to get my spearpoint fix.

I want those old, tool-steel Gerber Armourhide knives back! They were sort of ultra-modern when I was a kid and into all things retro.

812.
Wish they would bring these back to regular production in non stainless tool steel (m2, m4, 3v, etc), with a beefier pivot and lock.

.

For $35 you can send the 730 back to Benchmade and have the blade swapped optic. $35 for your perfect EDC ain't bad considering you are not even carrying it now.

Funny, the two knives I like in my pocket most often are both discontinued.

Kershaw Zing 1735OR- The US made version with orange scales.

CRKT 6103 Prowler, plain edge.- In some ways I like this better than my Benchmade 551.

Another I would like to see in production again, SOG AirSOG. Remember those?

Hope I'm not violating any BF rules by saying Kershaw guy has had the Kershaw Ram for awhile now. Thought all the people that still want one would like to know.

Lone Wolf knives. Lobo, Diablo, Harsey etc. Benchmade bought them then buried them.

+1 To this. I love my Lone Wolf Harsey T2, and wish I could get a T1 for a reasonable price. I also really love my Lone Wolf Loveless Integral Hunter (made by Fantoni). They had some amazing knives.

Pretty much every single ZT Limited Edition that I've missed out on. Or, a lot of older Spydercos that were before my time of serious collecting. The Strider PT comes to mind too, but I'm not sure if it is technically discontinued or just on backorder everywhere.

Looks like a Mcusta!

It IS a Mcusta ;)

They were a standard Mcusta model with their own specific handle the the rest of the line didn't have, with a Browning etch.

I really miss the mini Ruckus. I remember when they were first disco'd and some were selling for great deals, and I thought, "Nah, still to expensive. They'll replace it with something similar" Oops, that one didn't go how I thought it would.

The Ka-Bar phat bob is another one I kept meaning to pick up but missed. D2 steel, micarta handles, and a low price.

Clearly I really like micarta handled folders. Thanks for the pics KC.
