Knives you wish you bought.

I had the chance to buy a Timascus Locsha, and by the time I decided to buy it, it was too late.

Missed out on the original manix (I liked the mini)
Really would have liked to grab a boney active duty, but didnt :(
I am also going to miss out on the m4 mili that is coming out

I used to have a huge list of "I want" knives but the more you use them the more you know what you like, because I stick to Spydies for production knives and generally to open frame construction models I have managed to shorten my list down considerably and these days I can keep up with the knives I want. :D

An AG Russell Sting Boot Knife, back when they were $35.00 or so back in the late '70's. Used to see the ads for 'em in the gun magazines. Always wanted one, but just never got around to ordering....

A whole lot more Gerber Mk 1 & Mk II daggers in the PX when they were selling for $20.00 to $25.00. If I knew what these would be worth now, I'd would have had bought 'em by the gross...

I'm actually glad I didn't buy some knives because there seems to be even better one's coming up and I don't have enough room for all of them.

that is pretty funny, $35 in the mid 70s is now worth about 14-15 times and they are selling on ebay for only about $400 so they will cost a bit less than they did when you thought they were too much money.

A second Spyderco D2 Military. I paid $108.00 from a dealer when they came out (they were the same price as the regular Millies) and kept saying to myself, I should get another...never did and now you can hardly even find one for sale. It was also my very first Military. That is one knife I will never sell. Ever.

The Camillus Aftermath.
If I were ever to get a custom knife something from Darrel Ralph would be high on my list.
Too bad he's backed up for years.

You should go into business with a mind like that. You'd do well.

Hmm....

I never said they were too much money.

What I did say is that I never got around to ordering one.

Bit of a difference.

I wish I would have bought the Native American graphic regular Sebenzas when I had the chance, at a good price. Custom Buck 110 with buffalo horn handles, I believe it was BG42.

I'm more regretful of what I've sold or traded.

The Vietnam tomahawk used on "Weaponology" the Army Ranger episode. It was sold here and I missed it by a hair.I love that show.
