Knives you wish you bought.

Any single action MT OTF from the good ol days (no tri wing screws). I'd love me a Combat Talon 2 or a Halo 3.

Puma White Hunter back in 1979 when they were under $100 new. :o

Recently, Kershaw Junk Yard Dog II frame lock. :(

cold steel spartan, cold steel super edge, and gerber folding drop point profile...not high end knives but my stlye....lol

I met Bob Loveless back in 1988; one of my friends knew him pretty well. We went out to his shop, I don't remember what prompted the trip. I had the chance to buy one of 3-4 he had, but just couldn't justify the price (which was over $1000 then). Oh well...

KaBar 4059.

I actually bought one, but due to a series of incidents over the course of 15 minutes, the knife is no longer with us. Now I want one and can't find one. They were discontinued even when I had mine, and now they are impossible to find as far as I can tell.

The Benchmade 9100sbk-501 Urban Camo (the non serialized version) from my buddy about 5 years ago. He wanted $75 for it as his dad got a hold of some extras. I had the money however someone beat me to it by about 1 hour as I was late to work that day. I was so pissed.

For me it is much more a question of 'what knives have I bought that I wish I had not.' There is always a better knife coming along, and I almost never look back with regret.

I did buy a benchmade ti-zdp mini cyclone, and kind of wish I had bought two of them, @ only $145, which I considered doing at the time, but didn't. It has all the best materials and perfect lockup, very good design, and perfect size for me. I like it even better since the spring broke and it is manual-only.

Spyderco military in BG42 and S90V. D2 manix

That makes 2 of us pal :( I've been job challenged for the past year or so and I missed out on an S90V Military. That's my #1 blade to get at the moment. And to use, not to collect. So be advised if anyone has a used one to trade because I'll trade good for one.

I also regret not getting more of the Benchmade Phil Boguszewski Spike models when they could be got ( 640 & 650). It's one of my all time favorite designs ever. The Spyderco C-50 is a close second

emerson specwar customs back in the 90's when he still made knives... it was around 450 back then and he took lay away...

Microtech Tachyon and Dragonfly. Benchmade 47, 3x series, and anodized 4x series
that are no longer made.

a Kevin Cashen damascus bowie that came up 4 or 5 years ago, had the cash but didnt bite the bullet (I've known Kevin since 2001, so came to really appreciate his style of knives and swords)...regret it, cause i wont have the cash for a piece like that anytime soon!
