NO - the choil is if anything too small! No micro-choil, please! - Though I will have to have one no matter what . . . . (Choils can always be opened up - heck, they can be added).

1-Allows you to bring your index finger closer to be blade for better control.
2- better grip.
3- I've used the small choil on my AMSMO to make sparks using fire steel.
