Had fun reading this thread! Thanks to those who provided pics and story of their experience there. Need help identifying knife. 1st row 3rd from the bottom?? (resembles a pointed cleaver) Can anyone in attendance tell me about it? OAL, steel, specs and or price?

All these Protos were made from SR77. The longest had a 10" blade, so you may be able to estimate length from that. Thickess varied. Keep an eye on the Exchange, as some of these Protos can be found there.

At the risk of showing off my newness, I want to ask a couple of questions:

I have a couple of Swamp Rats (love them) they are SR101, and I have one Busse, a beautiful TGLB it is INFI

So what is SR77 and how is it different?

Second question: Blade is a different show then Knob Creek? I guess i had them lumped together in my head. Blade is in Atlanta? when?

INFI is INFI, sui generis.
SR101 is 52100, with the special Jerry Busse heat treat genius
SR77 is S7, with the special Jerry Busse heat treat genius.

Blade is different than KC. Three days of madness, and trough attacks. June 5-7. All piglets should try to make the pilgramage.

Quoted for memory's sake, that is too funny. :thumbup: Though if you can get the wife and kids to attend Blade too, your chances of snagging more goodies to accomplish your goal even faster increase exponentially. Of course that could all backfire if they enjoy it too.
