LOL, you're not only misguided, but you make no sense:confused: I don't care if somebody is white, yellow, brown, purple, green, black, or red. If they are stealing designs from another maker without giving credit and getting permission, then I consider them to be trash. Period.

How do I know it's from china?? Seriously, where have you been spending your time? That wasn't an outlandish assumption on my part. It is what it is. And on that note, did you really feel the need to compare me to a damn clansman and call me a racist for having a problem with counterfeit knives?? You are seriously in need of a wake up call. Gotcha there, I have never set foot in a Walmart, and that is a fact.

But seriously, I think it's up to every manufacturer to do their own policing. I'm a knife enthusiast, retailer, and maker, so that is where my energy gets focused. The company that has their coffee maker counterfeited is on their own, I can't cover everything. I want to point out to you, that I said in my previous post I have no problem with the Chinese making and selling all the knives they want. To call me racist for that is very shallow and not fair at all. If being upset by counterfeiting of American products without consent or royalty makes me a racist in your eyes, then you just go on with that opinion. I have no regrets about my opinions on the matter.

North America has a GREAT many non-white citizens. Infact, in the part of America that I live in, I am a minority as someone of Caucasian descendance.. Race is not involved here. What is of concern is the lack of respect for copyright and patents in some areas outside of North America. For instance, Japan upholds the trademarks of other's properties, while Russia does not. It is not a matter of race, but a matter of integrity. I hope that you can understand this, Mr. Sharp.

Also, Victorinox owns Wenger. No conflict of interest there.

this is a debate, I am simply illustrating the difference between looks like and counterfeit, lets not forget kershaws own counterfeits like the trooper, it's just a knock off of a shang hai armory dagger designed by fairbairn and sykes during the war, haha, kershaw stole a design from china first.
and I'm not here to make friends chum, I just speak the truth, I don't take sides and I'm not here butter anyone up.
 
victorinox owns wenger now, but what about the century before that? and is that how it works, you get rich off a stolen design and then years later it's cool? why do the swiss get a break?
