The BladeForums.com 2024 Traditional Knife is available! Price is $250 ea (shipped within CONUS).
Order here: https://www.bladeforums.com/help/2024-traditional/
As long as he has it, doesn't seem like a big deal. That's within $50 of what I've seen Arii for on Bladeforums in the last month. A little high, but that probably just means he won't sell at that price and it'll either sit or he'll have to drop it a bit. Have had a bunch of Arii for sale recently, so there may not be tons of lookers right now.Was thinking the same thing. Someone is trying to make a few bucks.
Assuming that’s the situation, so what? He’s allowed to do whatever he likes with his property, and BladeForum rules specify that he’s allowed to do that here. The rules also specify that price policing (ie bitching or complaining or speculating about prices) is not allowed. Was thinking the same thing. Someone is trying to make a few bucks.
Yeah I guess he can do what he wants. I'd rather see it go to someone else at Blade Show that really wants it though. I'm sure there are plenty of buyers there trying to get one.As long as he has it, doesn't seem like a big deal. That's within $50 of what I've seen Arii for on Bladeforums in the last month. As long as you own it and it's in your possession, you're fine.Didn’t realize I was doing anything wrong. Sorry if I am….

You were not. You’re good. Every comment here not related to a sale is unwarranted, out of place, and not technically allowed (even my comment defending you-but I just can’t handle the thinly veiled price police comments)….Didn’t realize I was doing anything wrong. Sorry if I am….
Right off the BladeShow table
I was probably a little quick to jump the gun on assuming what you were doing. I think if you would have explained why you were selling it right after just purchasing it from Blade Show that would have made a difference. Sorry for putting a downer on your listing. Maybe you'll want to relist it and ask the admins to delete this thread. Thanks for the reply Redwood25.
Again was not trying to do anything wrong or insulting. I would in no way try and be someone who cause tension on our forum. I enjoy the camaraderie around knives that we have. Had I known it was going to be such a point of contention I would have just kept it.
Crazy but there was a guy in line in front of me that was paid to come to Blade Show to guy an Aris. I know this because he walked up to a table full of Aris and ask
“ do you have a an Aris?”
Bills sister was like yes….. after the transaction I notice he was at a table sending picture so the owner so I asked if in fact that is what he was doing. He said “yes”.
Similar is that the buyer had to pay this guys way in and for his time just to own an Aris.
Either way you view this deal I would like to say that again I thought maybe someone that was not able to make the Blade Show could have the opportunity to own this knife at fair market value. My intention where to never flip it. Just spent more than I needed the more I walked around.
Grateful for our community and our shared love of knives. Again sorry to have caused any hard feelings. In it with you guy to preserve our platform
