I appreciate the kind words. I do try to contribute.
As for the link to the old thread, I think it's relevant, which is why I brought it up. Anybody can screw up once. Heck, the reason I bought a knife from Konrad last October is because he'd had one mixed GBU thread, something like a year before that, and positive feedback since. I figured anyone is entitled to be imperfect and I wasn't going to hold a bad transaction against him, and I wanted to give him a chance. My gamble paid off and I had a great transaction with Konrad last year. One of his 27 positive feedbacks is from me, and he earned that review. The issue is that now he's got another negative (with a few more experiences coming out of the woodwork here (such as @fkctrjt121 and @Barrettboy), which shows that it's not an isolated and resolved incident but rather an ongoing risk any time you choose to deal with this maker.
It's absolutely relevant, I hope u didn't take anything I said as meaning different. I was just blown away that the link from here took me to another thread, that took me to another and another, and he's still allowed to conduct business. (Not mod bashing, they do fine) Yes everybody is entitled to a screw up, were only human. It's what you do after said screw up that defines your character.
On Blade Forums, I'd imagine they do. Why wouldn't they?Do the laws of Blade Forums trump (no pun intended) all other laws?? Just asking.![]()
Yeeeeah, if a guy on the other end of a deal outside the US starts spouting trash like "I'm not beholden to US Law*", I would put that guy on blast to the extreme, and make sure everyone was made aware of what a scumwad thing that is. That's essentially a statement of "I could totally defraud you and there's nothing you could do about it so stop irritating me or that's exactly what I'll do." That doesn't fly with me. Why is this guy still allowed to sell knives here again? I missed that part.
* Paraphrased
Hm... By about 5 years I sold about 400 knives....
Had problem with less than 10 transaction.
And I didnt put refund by being pressured by Mod.
And like I mentioned in conversation - needed to transfer funds to paypal account in amount of 60PLN to click refund. ( automatic payments sounds familiar to anyone? And refund option dont work if there is not sufficent balance.)
Less than 10, not that I had problems with 10.
Like once package got damaged in the way and was missing one knife ( sended refund in amount of lost knife [ 1 of 2 ] )
And around 4 cases was when I had Depression ( was mentioned in a thread with problem)
And yes, sometimes I'm a hard to communicate.
So where's the tracking? Forget all the payment/refund logistics, you still haven't given anyone any indication that you actually shipped the knife.
I'm not sure how you can justify not having money for a refund on a knife you never sent to the buyer.
Just curious, do you only get depressed and stop communicating when you've failed to deliver knives or when you're asked to refund someone's money or do you get depressed and stop communicating when you take their money too?
I suggest you don't hold your breathe.I'd be interested to get your take on them.
