I picked up a little Skinner pattern in 1095 a while back and it didn't come with a sheath (don't you hate that...). The pattern is kind of neat and I asked Koyote Girl if she would make a horizontal carry sheath for it... I got it in today's mail , sharpened up the blade, and wore it to a Wood Badge ceremony in the Adirondacks this evening... I am very impressed with the stitching and comfort of the sheath, I will be wearing it again tomorrow on a hike in the Berkshires so I'll have more to say than. KG makes a great looking sheath. I'm kinda of a leather nut and my initial impressions are very positive:thumbup: More to come... Thanks KG!

Excellent looking sheath. I have been lucky enough to have a few of her sheaths!

They are great!

Awesome, …Sierra does great work.

That knife and sheath are a perfect match.

Sweet! Does the snap band slide around to the other side so the sheath can be worn reversed?

Yep, the and pattern of the sheath suit the knife really well... Seems to to be very well made.

Oof very nice, any info on the maker?

Frank Bridwell (Woody) made this knife.. He seems to make this pattern a lot, they come up on e-bay. Search for "skinner knife"..

No, it doesn't. The snap band is sewn to the top of the sheath. It can be worn blade up or blade down, depending on which way you run your belt through it. I will try to post another pic later.....

Looks very nice mneedham. Thats a pretty cool little blade also. Looks like a nesmuk knocked up a wolfpup :D

Nice looking sheath. I have one as well and love it. Perhaps my favorite leather sheath to date (it's her expedition model).

Thanks guys... Phil was asking about wear options, the sheath could be worn this way too. I think I like it on the front of my belt though..

Folderfan - No I'm in New York - I usually don't call her Bill either.. I like the tat though!

Hrm. try edge down on the left front of the belt in the "belly gun" position., too.

I did, I think the left front is the more traditional horizontal position, but for some reason I like it on the right.. I just got back from hike with my scouts, I wore the the knife and it was very comfortable (got several compliments too!). Please tell Sierra that I said thanks and I hope she would consider making me another one sometime in the future.....
