Kris arrived!

Anyone know of any stores that have them in stock? My wife would like to pick one up for me for Valentine's Day. :D I appreciate the help.

SFO, the Spyderco catalog on the website. But you'll pay full MSRP.

How badly do you want it;)

Not that bad. I can celebrate Valentine's Day in March...or later. :)

Carlos, how do you know Moki was the contract shop for these? Also, are both the full size and the smaller Persians made by Moki?

Everyone views aesthetics differently. I think the Kris is gorgeous, but I'm the same guy who thinks the Dodo looks better than 99% of all knives out there, so that says a little something about me:cool:

sorry, Bill_G, I don't see that.

I own one of the original custom Kris's on which this desgin was based.
I just saw a pic in Blade mag, and it really spoke to me. Luckily, Ed could accomodate me--and I have been carrying it everr since. I have never held a knife that was so comfortable in my hand. And does it cut.

It is somewhat different than the production model, but the basic shape is the same. Maybe to my eye the beauty of this knife derives from its functionality. In any event, I LIKE the way this knife looks--and I love the way it functions.

There is a similar thread in the general blade discussion forum.
