Just wanted to share a GREAT customer service experience with Mcnees Knives. I recently bought a 3.5 inch PM from an authorized dealer. The knife is awesome, but the blade finish wasn’t right. There was a spot with what looked like a permanent rub mark. Very minor, but I was bothered that it wasn’t perfect—they’re not cheap. So I emailed Mcnees knives to give them a chance to fix it before just returning it.
I heard back within a day from Jonathan Mcnees himself. They sent a prepaid label, fixed it, and had it back to me after a ONE day turnaround on the repair. I am shocked, knowing they must be overwhelmed with other work, given how popular these knives are. If you’re on the fence about buying a Mcnees, go ahead and buy it! They really stand behind their products.
Oh, not only is the blade finish now perfect, they also engraved the scale for me (I paid for that, $25).
