Kukur Dog Tihar Special for 11/10

Check the spelling in your email SG. "soumd" or "sound"? Might cause yall some delivery problems if you click on it.

Thanks ndog. It's sound. Go it right the last time, cuz Bigbore got through. Brain ain't workin right today. Lots of stuff on the brain, lots of stress, lots of lost sleep. Might post later, don't know though.

Got the knife today, looks awesome. Way bigger than I imagined. Doesn't look quite right in my little hands, but it feels perfect and that's all that matters.

Kanchhi arrived safe in Kathmandu , thank you all for your good thoughts and donations

Tihar festival German is very happy with flowers mala.

Nice blades! I love the Cherokee rose and the Bowie. I snoozed on this one. :(

That is one handsome puppy there. I love spitz breed dogs and their curly tails. They are great in cold climates too.

My Foxy Folly just arrived, and oh MAN am I thrilled! I was worried that it might rust a bit, since the weather has been very damp, and the Cherokee Rose that I bought last year had a few rust spots, but the FF has no sign of any rust - it's still thoroughly oiled. It just feels right in my hand. The handle, although seemingly slightly thicker than the one on my WW2, is surprisingly comfortable, and this is coming from a guy who generally prefers thinner handles - maybe it's more comfortable because it's shorter, and made of wood.

Unfortunately, I'm still working on a jury-rigged stand for it - I've run out of room on my walls. That's OK, though, because I'm going to be soaking the whole thing in oil for a few days anyway. Still can't believe I got this thing for half the usual price!

Pictures or it didn't happen brother Finn. I'm serious and I mean it.:D

Is a Spitz a breed of it's own? Kind of looks like a Rotweiller/Husky/ with maybe a touch of black lab mixed in to tone it down a bit. I love that dog. Looks tough but friendly.
Have to do a little googling here. Might teach my little border terror a little respect by golly. Torments the cat relentlessly, see how she feels when we turn the tables around just a bit.

Found a link and I guess my guess was close, not a breed of it's own but a general descriptor.
Good link that talks about them.
