Mines perfect just like my S35VN and others
I have a question
Has anyone used a "cold blue" technique to patina ?

I know people use a cold blue mix with lemon juice and mustard

If you gun blue your blade, just remember not to use it for food prep.....
Why ?
If I patina it with red onion or potato or mustard I still can do food prep ?
Supposedly, the chemicals in the gun blue are toxic. I don't know as I've never used a knife with gun blue, but I have used a knife on food that's been patina'd by food....
^^^ they might not have been cleaned out and may be drilled I would take the back of a small drill bit and just try to push the wholes through from the lefty side
Tried to heat with a hair dryer, but still can't shift the last screw and coming dangerously close to stripping it. Might have to send it in or back to Spyderco, cos I don't like tip down.
