Title says it, all.

Edited. Deal fell apart.....I was disappointed.

He's got all good feedback.

Takes 2.

1. Hall of Shame is for violators with multiple infractions for poor behavior, not just a one-off that no one else knows about.

2. Title does NOT say it all, it says nothing. What happened, where, when, what does Kyui Su Kim have to say about it, did you send him a message this post is here?

Let us know what the story is, we might be more sympathetic.

i don't pillow talk or air dirty laundry, so I'm leaving it at that.

Feel free to delete as i understand your issue with the post.

i don't think recognizing that an individual wears a Tinfoil Hat is airing Dirty Laundry, but everybody is entitled to their opinion.

Needing a tad bit more information
You need to be upfront or you will get no where in this forum.
You also need to Grow Up..

It is true
We have heard of this person.
BUT DO know
If you have had NO PROOF of a sour dealing..
You need to steer clear of voicing your opinions
I can promise this thread will explode here very very shortly.....

YOU need to provide --Exactly how a deal or trade went down and how
it may have gone sour....
Now its up to you.?? But as I see...You have NOTHING but your thoughts and opinions
in this thread you have provided for all too see..

This is a waste of server space. You should be forced to buy at minimum a gold membership just for this stupid thread.

I apologize for my contribution to 'nothing' and I can only hope this gets closed ASAP....

Well seems that you are living up to the tone of all your emails.

So, for any of you all that are at all curious what this is about, DVN00 is upset because I declined a sale with him based on numerous factors, most of which went to a lack of trust on my part that I felt I could no longer go forward with the deal.

I was emailed the other day in regards to a BM425 that I had for sale/trade. The email came from his gmail account that did not immediately show as coming from a Bladeforums source. When I asked about this, his reply was "I used this gmail until I'm ready to work out a deal b/c you don't know if someone is an issue - lol" and then emailed me his BF handle.

As we began discussing the details of the sale, he asked that I send it directly to Benchmade to be sharpened and that they would forward it to him. I am never comfortable with relying on anyone else to send something to its destination, so this was a no go for me.

I also informed him that I can no longer use Paypal as a fraud incident where they let my account become compromised has soured my taste of them and that I would only accept MOs.

When I made it apparent that I would not be able to ship until payment was received, he sent a passive aggressive email about how he was offended that I would not put my full faith into a member with 6 posts and only 2 feedbacks.

I politely declined the whole deal saying that I could not meet his conditions to which he replied with an accusation that I was attempting to scam him and that Paypal had closed my account because of said scamming.

His last email contained such gems as that I have a "+1 point retarded!".

No deal was made and no material exchanged hands, but his conduct was odd to say the least and I informed him that I would be making a post in regards to it this evening. Guess he felt he would beat me to it?

As a summary to the wall of text above, I chose to decline the deal due to:

Use of a secondary email

Insistence to send the knife to somewhere other than the buyer

Refusal to wait for payment to clear before I shipped

It is within my right and anyone else's right to chose the conditions that satisfy them. If those cannot be met, most of us simply move on to the next offer.

Okay, well at least something actually happened. OP, get your stuff together and post your side. Otherwise, this was a big waste of everyone's time.

And that's the story!

We have seen many problems caused by going through with a deal when there was no confidence in the other person. If it don't feel right, don't do it.

There is no reason for anyone to feel insulted by this. It is a business decision, and there is always another knife to spend money on.

Hmmmm....

We'd only communicated about this knife for a week or more. I attempted to meet all his terms, and he bails!

- Will only ship CONUS; I gave him a U.S. address
- will only accept "money order" I get money order.
- All I ask he ship on same day as me and provide tracking? Same regard I'm giving him. What's offside with that. I give him my contact info to send proof of money order.
- Won't use PayPal (for whatever reason(s)) should've been my red flag, but I figure "ok he's got decent feedback."

So I just send him money order and hope he honours deal....?

Waste of time and jerking me around.

Reserve the right to sell to whoever you want. I'm fine with that.
Why not be up front about it?

So I should put full faith in someone who has little to no interaction on the forum that I was contacted from? Or the fact that you contacted me from a secondary email account? If I don't want to use Paypal, that is my business. I have explained three times now to you why I can't/won't use it, but you still play as if it is some mystery.

By the way, we had been speaking about details of a sale for 2 days, not a week. Nothing was solidified and no addresses were even exchanged
