L-6

I would be interested in the 1/2 x 2. I am assuming that it is 1/2 thick 2" wide and ? long. I will email with a request for length and price. I want to make some more choppers and L6 is a really tough steel. Dan

I need E-Mails guys. I can't take orders off a thread. I'll have pricing on Monday PM. Sorry for the delay. I'm running the 1084 in the middle of all this and there's another outfit looking to sell off a room full of A-2, W-1 and O-1 PGS. Oh Happy Day.

Dan, L-6 for an anvil? Ya killen me!

I've been curious about the different L6's (true L6 as opposed to Admiral's "Not-L6") for quite a while and have never gotten an answer I understood... one more try.

Kevin Cashen wants L6 with Mo and Tim Zowada wants L6 without Mo. What I don't understand are the reasons for the preferences and what the differences in use/process/etc. are.

I have a confession. The other day when I went back to check on the L-6 I eyed a 4.5" x 6" x 17" block of W-2 and only because I can, it's gonna be my new anvil. How deep do you thing I could harden it?

The L-6 is going to run between $3.00 and $4.50 per pound. I'm getting in touch with everyone who E-Mailed me by phone. There is a lot more to be had at this location. There working on a D-2 inventory as well. Along with all the PFG we came across a stack of 1/2" x 2" D-2 hot roll. Would anybody be interested in that?
