[Laguiole] Are the pins on your Shepherd's Cross aligned?

I suppose there are some blemishes, misaligned pins, what have you on this knife but I've never noticed any. It's a nice knife with nice covers (pistachio), nice file work, etc..

A lot of nitpicking in this thread for knives that have so much hand work in them. Just my .02¢ .

Thanks Christian kamagong kamagong for the video showing the Shepherds Cross being drilled out freehand.

Though I'm not enamored with misaligned pins, a crooked SC is not as egregious as neglecting to add a groove to the covers of a knife.

As nice as this knife is, I can't help but think it looks unfinished.

I just had a finding that let me recall your this post so I come to reply (sorry if this makes this thread up again)

The back of the mushroom knife I talked, there is no heel processed at the back of the blade.
