Once the Dogs and Rats heard about the LardoGanzaaaaa. . . . they decided that they wanted to join in at the throw down at the Hoe Down!!!! :D

Hearing of the upcoming LardoGanzaaaaaa, my brother Dan offered to throw a small number of "Desert Dog Fathers" into the Ganzaaaaa. . . . That's a lot of SR77 horsepower hangin' out of that Resiprene C handle!!!! I think that this might be the first time that these have been publicly available in this color and finish. . . .

Needless to say, those dirty Rat bastids wanted to throw down as well, so they tossed in a small batch of the D2 Tool Steel Vexilarus (Vexilari?).

Not to be outdone, the HOG Apprentice Custom Knife Team (HACK) is throwing these sharpened INFI Rail Road spikes into the mix at a great price!!!!!!!

It's shaping up to be one heck of a dance!!!!!!

Specs and pricing will be up later tonight. . . .

jerry, we must roll with the changes...

lets bust a move, dem rats and dogs are on top of us, gotta do somethin

none for me, I just had to slap a big down payment on a new vehicle. I hate when the old vehicle gives up the ghost.

I love the shape of those HACKs, just wish that they were skinny. :grumpy:
I feel you on that one bro.

I do love the Vex's .........uhm, I mean, yeah stinky rats, pluh, patooy. :barf:

Still love the rats :)

+1, they look like the perfect skinning knife!!!.... if not to thick

Jerry, How thick are these hacks please?

Hey Ken, the first ones that came out at the spring knob creek were .220 next to the micarta, and were .21 just infront of the plunge line.

THese appear to be as thick, or thicker than the ones that were at this past Blade. I dont have one to measure, but they were much thicker.

I do agree with you though because these blow the GWs away IMHO. It has a much better grip especially when covered in blood, but mostly when choked up on, it has no choil to hang up on the hide etc.

THis knife and the hack meaner would be one of my favorite Busse's ever if it was on the anorexic side of .150:thumbup:

Agreed........

but be careful, I got one and Eric made me a Rat :barf:

oh that's right, you're already a 'Rat of the Cheese Wheel'

Never mind :D

You can tell from the pic that they are thick. I scored one from Knob Creek, but it turned out to be 0.27" IIRC, so it got resold immediately.

edit to add. maybe mine was 0.22", as KH indicated above. Still too thick.

I'm new to the forum and never participated in a ganzaaaaa. Are the offerings usually sold out within minutes or do you have a longer window to purchase?

Thanks for the help.

Ganzas are on a first come first serve basis. Once Jerry gives the "GO" you send in an email of what you are interested in. Orders are filled in the order that the emails hit our box. Always a good idea to have a second or third option as many of these knives have very limited numbers and will be snatched up quickly.

Stay tuned and good luck,
Garth
