LardoGanzaaaaa. . . Scrap Yard & Swamp Rat Are Coming To Throw Down At The Hoe Down!

You're welcome.

Someone will be along momentarily to correct me. :p

One more question, the Busse website lists a few different email addresses,
will Jerry post a specific ganzaa address or is there one that he always uses
for these that you can give me?

Thanks again.

I have never quite figured it out... but the "big guy" (Jerry 8usse) always posts the "Go!" from a blue Registered User account. Weird, but true... look for the blue.

Newbe question here... is there a normal time that "The Event" starts?

If there is a link with more info that somebody can provide I would be willing to look at it rather then ask my stupid questions... I have looked but not found.

Thanks

I love the shape of those HACKs, just wish that they were skinny. :grumpy:

+1 - These Hacks are TOO thick. Skinny would be WAY better.

+1, they look like the perfect skinning knife!!!.... if not to thick....

GREAT design for a skinner, but these Hacks "ARE" too thick. These fatties will still cut and skin, but 0.150" thick would cut and skin BETTER.

I do agree with you though because these blow the GWs away IMHO. It has a much better grip especially when covered in blood, but mostly when choked up on, it has no choil to hang up on the hide etc.

THis knife ...... would be one of my favorite Busse's ever if it was on the anorexic side of .150:thumbup:

I don't know if I would rank it as my favorite Busse designs ever, but if it were on the anorexic side of .150 and with a little less belly, I would rank it as one of favorite small Busse's of all time.

IMO - blades this small (AD or smaller and many even larger than the AD) should NOT have a choil - especially not a non-functioning choil! The GW doesn't have enough handle for me and I always felt I wanted to choke up onto the guard to hold it. Not a good fit. This Hack looks much better. But, TOO THICK!

The blade shape with lots of belly is well suited for skinning, but IMO too much belly for a good task knife. I personally prefer and have much more use for a good task knife and would prefer less edge belly - More like an AD or MPLE. - Just take some belly out from tip to choil and that would be a great design IMO.... and of course make it at or sub-0.150" thick!

As is, IMO, the VEX is WAY better in design and function than any other Busse small knife to date. :( .... That HACK is VERY close, but too thick and I personally would prefer less belly. But, a great skinner design if thinner.

GIANT +1 to this. I love the blade shape of my high street, but the choil eats up so much usable edge, and it's still better than most other short Bussekin knives, because, while I'd rather not have a choil on a knife this size, I'd DEFINITELY rather not have a useless choil. At least the HS choil is large enough to use.

Give me an INFI vex with a slightly thicker handle and I'd be very, very happy. Heck, since we're losing the trademark choil to make something this small in INFI, let's lose the talon hole too. Neither is necessary in a knife with a sub-5" blade.

New members....
Please be very careful what you read.
Some of these "Hogs" as they are called, will
tell you anything to get you off the trail.
They figure the less competition they have,
the better chance they have at getting the knife they really want.
Im not saying they are not telling you the 100% truth,
but I certainly would be VERY suspicious of ANY comments
they made!
Asking for help from some of them is like, well,
letting the wolf guard the sheep.
Its called Hog Treachery...
Just some friendly advice...
Welcome to the Trough!
