Two More
A fisherman friend has been discussing his optimum fillet knife for some while and we worked together to make these. They are both 1/16" thick A2 tool steel. A2 is a high carbon tool steel with 5-6% chrome. This helps prevent corrosion while giving the performance of a tool steel. The handles are beautiful Cocobolo handles and 1/8 brass pins, pics are ok but really look good with the brass pins. The pins were peened when the handles were epoxied and not clamped to insure a good hold. The pic of the back of the knives show how well the fit is.
They both have great flex, HT to about 56RC was target.
Long Fillet 12 1/2" overall 8" blade about 1" at widest part of the blade. $75.00 + 5.95 USPS Shipping
Short Fillet 10 1/4" overall 5 1/4" blade about 1" at widest part of the blade.
$55.00 + 5.95 USPS Shipping
Leather Pouch Sheath Available $20.00.
Prefer Paypal but we can always work out something.
