Large Burlap Burl Camper

Large Burlap Burl drop point camper. Overall length is 11.25" with a 6.25" blade tip to handle. Blade is 5160 steel with full flat grind. 3/16" brass mosaic pins made by me. 1/4" brass lanyard hole, can add leather lanyard if wanted. The Burlap Burl mycarta is made by Butch Harner. Right hand carry brown leather sheath with large Ohio Adena tooled into it. Knife, leather sheath and shipping SOLD.

damn ya beat me to it, i got one comming up with some of butches burl stuff to.......great looking knife
 
Butch really makes some nice burl material!! I wish we could gethim to make some more. Very nice knife by the way. You did a super job on it. Mike
 
Thanks Mike I like working with the mycarta and Butch does a great job with it. It makes a great feeling handle. I did a batch of 5 knives at once which is more than I usually do. I normally do one at a time but this batch turned out real nice.
 
I left the handle "bare" on this one. Many people seal the mycarta with a cyanacrylate an it becomes very smooth. I took this handle down to 600 grit then 0000 steel wool for a finish. It left a bit of tooth from the burlap that gives it a nice grip.
 
Just realized this morning that I posted sold to this one instead of the Amboyna Burl camper. This one is still available.:o
 
This one is now sold pending funds. I have one more that is waiting for a sheath I hope to get done soon. Thanks to all for looking.
