I have a large chopper up for sale made from CPM M-4 steel.
The OAL is 19 inches with a blade length of 11 5/8".
Blade steel is .155" thick and the blade at it's widest point is 2 7/16".
This was heat treated, including cryo, and tempered targeting between 61-62 HRC.
Handle scales are linen micarta, orange micarta, with "camo" canvas micarta on the outer side held together with hex head fasteners.
There is no glue holding the scales on. The handle is designed for dual position use so you can easily choke up on the handle for slicing tasks or grip the back end for chopping.
The balance point is by the plunge grind line.
