Got a chance to use it some more on this weekends fishing trip.
Didn't catch any fish but it worked great for prepping the veggies for dinner.
Holding the knife by the spine gives you lots of control over the tip of the blade.
Regular grip allows you to utilize the nicely curved belly for slicing.
Out of all the knives I used this weekend the Farmer had the least corrosion at the end of the trip. I took a beefier O1 camp knife and my Himalayan Imports AK Bowie which is 5160. 5160 will rust just by looking at it. The 01 had a little bit of surface spotting but the Farmer was perfect. It's developing a nice patina also.
I absolutely love that knife! That's about all I can say. As I type this, one of his knives is sitting above the F keys on my keyboard. David makes some great knives meant for use. I truly enjoy checking out all his posts as he really explores and experiments with form but never sacrifices function.
