Large Fighter Crazy hamon

Joe P. I like the recurve style and they are wicked cutters, I do also make bowies with no recurve but on these I like a loooong pointy clip.

Thanks Don I love your work. It is all different but very distinctive simply as I said before fantastic

I can't add anything new here, but I must say that knife leaves me breathless. It is absolutely incredible!

Don, that is a beautiful knife. The hamon is unique for sure. What I truely love is the way the damascus guard pulls the blade and handle together. And that ivory is great for that blade. Everything compliments each other.

Don,
That's as amazing a piece as I think I've ever seen. Inspired!
John

Ditto, John! I was fortunate enough to see this one out the door, and it is truly a special piece!! Not just the amazing activity in that W2, the guard (which it right on!), and beautiful walrus ivory. For a large blade, the flow and feel on this one just floored me. I told Don it was an instant favorite Hanson for me, and he calmly said, "It all seemed to come together on this one."

May they all come togehter so well! ;)

Superb fighter/bowie, Don. Great images, Coop.

I sure agree with everyone on this magnificent fighter,Don!
That hamon is just outtasight' striking and like Nick said, the pattern on the guard(that Coop's pic shows so wonderfully) and out of this world ivory make this one something to behold.
Love the recurve blade shape and the long pointy clip, can tell a Hanson blade from across the room,
the ivory would be the giveaway. :D
Great work.
Congrat to the new owner!

Wow Don, that's just incredible, as was said its also for me one of your best, only one other contender comes to mind, but I'm a little biased. :)

Bruce, to your point, I think I'd allow myself to get stabbed if I got to keep the knife afterwards, well assuming I'd live to enjoy it of course, would be worth the pain though. :)

Amazing as always, and somehow even more than usual Don.

And of course beautiful photography by Jim.

Exotic, Sleek, and Beautiful! Nice photo progression as well. Visual feast.

Don I love that fighter. If I had to be stabbed I would want it to be from this knife.

I agree with Bruce.

Bruce This has to be my Favorite Quote ever:thumbup::thumbup::thumbup:

My thoughts exactly.

Haha!!

This is THE ultimate fighter (IMO) and I keep coming back for another glance. Composition is solid. The photo and layout is done perfectly. Holy Sh*t! (on all accounts)

There's no doubt 2009 is going to be an outstanding year for Bowies, as it's only two months past and we have already seen some outstanding examples.

There was another threat titled "one word" and looking at that knife mine would simply be WOW.
