Large knife challenge

I'm not sure how you can do _without_ >> 3" blade at all, on a daily basis.

Unless you eat only Wonder Bread and somebody else cooks for you.

I think it's gotta be either 3.75" or 4". I can't even remember the last time I carried something 3" or shorter. I picked up a couple of knives in the 3.35" range and thought "Wow that's small!"

Also, just a matter of time before someone makes a joke about foot size here. I won't do it, but be aware. ;)

A wooden knife. 😁 After all, when i was a young boy, I was a Tarzan fan so I carved up a wooden knife and made a cardboard sheath, and climbed a few trees. I had a lot of fun and was happy. So now you know, a good imagination is key to having fun. At least when I was boy.

If you ask me, I am a large knife fan. Been asking for a Military 2 forever, carrying a PM2 (Dodo was dull, no time to hone this morn) and Endura now by chance, love the Espada series, carry a Yojumbo a lot, have lamented the lack of large knives.

However, a year ago, a manager banned knife carry at my workplace... So I switched to "small, inoffensive" knives. Also, good knives, thin, and I need OHO. The AD20.5, Chaparral, Kopa (mine in Cocobolo) and eventually got even smaller as I started with the tiny reverse S knives like the Dodo and Cricket, like sub 2in blade on both, and by this point I got into LW carry and was doing it willingly, those work great for me, waved a modded Endura and carry it more days than my Yojumbo for example.

So... That leaves my serrated P4, my PM2s, my Native Chief XHP, not getting as much love as they should. I have a new manager who could not give less of a crap about what knife I carry, and another new one who is a certified gun nut and shows pics of his babies at work 🤣 as well as a knife fan. So if he's normal, I am in no danger.

I will try this starting tomorrow. Native Chief XHP going in my pocket.

REAL challenge would be to carry NO knife for a month.....triple dog dare ya.
"There is a heretic on level 3! I say again, there is a heretic on level 3!"

The last couple of weeks I haven't used a knife blade shorter than 3.6" so it's not going to be much of a challenge. It would be a lot harder to stop using knives with blades 4" long and under.

Always a temptation out there guys. Paid attention to folders for so long for EDC but a fixed with 4 inch blade has gotten my interest up. Heck the blade is already there when it clears the sheath.

Carrying my R&H Knives Tasca 2 today. It might be the perfect knife. 3.5 inches of Damasteel.
