I like a small understated marking or logo.

Al-Mar comes to mind. Turns me off.

GEC is really bad about putting junk all over their blades. Luckily, their etchings tend to be pretty light, so they either come off naturally with use, or you can simply remove them yourself.

I've always hated large logos, and so much information that it almost covers the whole blade. Below is an example of what I am referring to.
