I am waiting on an order for a couple knives, one of which a Queen ACSB Cattle King. Let's see your big stockmans. 3, 4 or 5 blades, just the biguns!

Here's one I wish I would've kept, a RAT stockman, with a punch instead of spey blade

I'll post a picture of my large case when I get home from work. A lot of people anymore doesn't carry a big stockman. But a lot of knife companies offer em. I like the big stockmans. These knives are user friendly knives. Big grippy handles blades that can take a work load. I like the queen cattle king tha best. An old farmer came and looked at some bulls the other day had a case large stockman and I asked him why he carried such a big knife. He said so he could cut big things! He said he's carried one all his life! I asked him I bet it shreds your overall pockets! He said that he valued that knife more than a pair of overalls. He pointed at my pockets and said that lil knife did the same to yours too!

I collect the #53 GEC stockmen at 4-1/8" closed, so I have a bunch of different handles in that pattern. Here are a few favorites.

4 stag bones: green mountain, carved pumpkin, river blue and brimstone

Jeff, you always have a nice collection, but that rough horn GEC and the Moore Maker are stunning.

Great thread here -- Excellent images from you all too!. I am a huge fan of large Stockman patterns with three or more blades. Especially when they include punch blades in the mix. The Stockman pattern is one of the most versatile hard working traditional knives one can own.. If I was asked to choose my very favorite ones of all time they would be the, Case #64047P four blade, the Case #64055P four blade Cattle knife and the Case #6347PU three blade Stockman.. I cannot ever imagine working out on the ranch without a good Stockman in my pocket..

I'll see if I can locate some pix later on this evening if folks are interested..

Best,
Anthony

Post away Anthony. Always glad to see your pictures and to see you posting on "Traditional".

Jeff both the smooth & rough rams horn are fantastic looking scales, I might have to seek out something in rams horn.
