Large stockmans and cattle kings

Cool. Nice melding of modern and traditional. I need me a big stockman... Trappers are my favorite pattern but the stockman/cattle knife is right after 'em.

Two Frontiers - black handle is one of my EDC pieces. White handle is his NIB brother - the "find" that got me started as a collector! They're modest knives ... but made to be workhorses.

is there a 3-spring case stockman? i'm not so fond of "crinking," although i imagine all three blades to have a smooth and tight action. the middle blade of my three-spring buck 301 is kinda sleepy since it rubs between two hard spring ends, rather than soft brass. but i can't complain. the blades are sharp and the package is as solid as a tank.

i'm rather attracted to the case medium sm (6318) with the rounded bolsters and serpentine handle, even though it's a two-spring design.

My Case 3347 CV is a three spring. 3 7/8" in size. (Like you, I prefer blades to be straight, rather than crinked.) It is no wider than a similar length two-spring stockman.

Yeah, the Case 47 went three spring a while back, although I have a 2 spring as well.

I really need to get an equal end stockman, or cattlebaron pattern!

Such a fantastic looking pattern. I have a thing for equal end slip joints.

Here's a few of my monsters. Queen, Case and Camillus. Too bad the Camillus didn't have real bone.

On that note, here are a couple pics of two of my large "Cattle King" knives (Queen #49 "Cattle King" and a 1985 Bulldog "Cattle King"):

Here's a few I've picked up over the years: Rough Rider MOP; Case 6.5375CV bonestag; Remington 9501 (Camillus-made); U.S. Schrade 858OT; Colt #CT322

The Case bonestag; I bought this one from Shepherd Hills Cutlery in 2007, and didn't realize just how big it would be. I spent several afternoons getting it to a more pocket-friendly state.

No large Cattleman patterns for me yet; I like the serpentine handle shape a little more.

Here's my 4 blade Cattle knife and this 5 blade Cattle knife is Tony's. I thought these
two knives would be nice in this thread. Hard to find either one of these in good condition.
Hard to find a 5 blade in any condition... (5 blade pic's used with permission)

Late to the game but here goes.....Big stockman - Model 307. Discontinued, but readily found on auction site. Apparently a bunch were made up by Camillus at the near end of their life. Old ones and later ones all appear the same, so guess the same folks were building them at the end of Cami. Only a few were made special, usuallly for SMKWs special sales. Yellows were a SMKWs only sale, the BUCK shield snuck on a few but blades are NOT 425M steel, only 440A as were the others. A big knife in most everyones hand. 300
