Large tactical folder recommendations

What about the CQC11? Its the biggest folder I own and you already know how good Emersons are...

Otherwise Emerson also offer the CQC7 in a super-sized format.

As far as the Millie goes, its a big knife overall, but I think a lot of that is handle. Don't think the blade is longer than 4,5 inches.

Yup, just checked... its only 4 inches. Hmm.... the CQC11 is only 4.1 inches too. The SOG Pentagon Elite II is 5 inches. Not many folders with a bigger blade than that.
 
I edc a Emerson 11 and that is about as big as I'll go for going out in places like the mall or shopping. I do have a CS X2 Voyager that sees back pocket time when I am at work and you can't beat the Cuda Maxx 5.5.. I put the Cuda in the safe since they got discontinued. The prices on them are sky high last I checked on the auction forums. For a solid user and beater, I'll take the Cold Steel anytime!
 
Stryker, I don't find the RB too heavy myself. I carry it IWB mostly, and have switched to a different clip which doesn't grip quite so tightly. Ergos are excellent imo.
 
DITCH and Cutter17 thanks for the reply. Cutter I saw your info on the Al Mar SERE and I pulled the trigger and ordered one today. Been looking at those forever. I guess it was only a matter of time. The RB sounds tempting also...I need to win Lotto!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
 
Glad I could be of help. Yep the SERE 2000 is a good one. The Rijbak is also a keeper. Have a ZT0500 MUDD ariving tomorrow and have a feeling this one is going to be seeing some pocket time!
