Las Vegas area Knifemakers?

We have heat in the summer , so that we don't need it in the winter ;)

How the heck you been bud ? Weather has got to be awesome up your way about now. Any coyote or bunny huntin up that way this time of the year ?

I was wondering if any of you will be doing that show up here in January at the Riviera (I think that's where it's at) and if so..can we all meet there and kibbutz a bit??

I won't have a table there , but I will be there talking with friends ( at least the first day as the show is not big enuff to justify going all 3 days--- and I live here ) and hopefully shopping for supplies , even though the supplies were almost non-existent last year.
 
Hey Guys.....I'm back in town for a couple weeks but I'll be gone most of Oct. Go ahead and meet up if you can, I don't want you to put off the meet on my account. Hope all is well and especially for our knife makin' brothers in "Ikes" path. I flew over Houston the Monday they reopened the airport. Lots of water!

I just found out that Dr Jim will be there at the Riviera s Show, as I spoke with him today and he is busy "loading up" with stock for it so maybe it will be an interesting show afterall.

Hello. I live here in Vegas and there was a person in calif who was making a custom Bowie for me. Things have come up that he might not be able to make it for me.
He said he could send me the damascus blade, unshaped ironwood handle and unshaped brass guard. There are a few things that has to be done to the damascus blade to bring out the swirls in the blade. shaping the brass guard, and carving the ironwood into a handle. Is there anyone here that would like to take on the project or know a custom knife maker in Las Vegas? my Cell number is 760-780-8433. Any help would be appreciated.
