Laser Strike Mk 2 countdown!

Are any more specs of the LS MK2 available at this time? I have a HEST and an Izula 2 on the way. I am also looking at a 4 or 5. Can anyone hypothesize on what role(s) the LS will fill in relation to those two?

It's pretty sad the way our government is happy to trample the constitution these days. But it's not surprising, the constitution was written as it was to try and prevent such men from doing such things as they do today.

Oh no... I was trying to pry my bench vise open with my HEST and a pipe for additional leverage. And it broke. Can I have a LS Mk2 please?

I apreciate your enthusiasm but all things take time. The new Laser Strike is a pretty good ways out. I probably should have never mentioend that we are going to come back out with the thing since it seems to set off a shitstorm of speculation. :D

I'm thinking the blade is going to be about 14" long. They're going to be using damascus steel as well. It should easily baton through an engine block. Jeff or Mike may have let slip a while back that they'd be collaborating with wicked lasers for a 1w blue laser inset for the handle. It should be at vendors early next week. I'm looking forward to it.

You are correct. Someone else started this thread so maybe they can answer most of the questsions that none of us know right now. :) Not trying to be an asshole, and we seriously do appreciate the interest in all things we do, but it will be a while before we have final specs and decisions on the LS knife, not to mention the fact that we don't even know when production timelines will be. With all that said, it will be a good knife and find its own niche within our line. Some folks really like this knife, some don't. So, the niche is not the size or shape but simply personal preference. I always like the knife and beat the literal hell out of one over the years.

Nah, don’t sweat it Jeff. It’s just anticipation. You guys have a consistent record for putting out cool products, can’t blame folks for being excited about it. There is a ways to go before the LS lands on your front porch so everybody just take a deeeeeep breath and relaaaaaaaax.

I will answer any and all Laser Strike Mk 2 questions. You can call me on my 1-900 number. It's $2.95 per minute for the first 3 minutes and $0.99 per minute after that. 30 minute minimum.

This is a thread for speculation, drooling and discussion. Any specs or info posted here is done so by forum members and potential customers. It is all speculation, imagination and some outright lies. Enjoy.

And we really do appreciate that. I just don't want to answer questions that I don't know the answer to right now. Simply because things change and evolve in a project and inevitably someone gets their feelings hurt from the change. We would have probably never mentioned that the Laser Strike will take the place of HEST production except for the fact that we have been saying we are going to bring it back for some time now.

Man, we have a ton of new projects we are working on and very few of them are knives. Some of them are just really cool but it takes a while to get through all the manufacturing processes. We've been shipping a rifle stock back and forth to the manufacturer for the last year - tweaking as we go. But if we ever get it on the market it will be a damn cool piece.

The rifle stock is going to be extra cool when we get finished with it. And it will be something everyone can afford, no need to fill out a 4473 to purchase, etc.

I'm not taking it that way. Actually, I think I am fairing better than I anticipated, as I am new to this subforum.

Just tell me to go ahead and buy the 4, 5, and Junglas to mess around with in the meantime, because this LS will not be a replacement for any of them!:D
 
If you really want to get the masses in an uproar, just tell them that the Laser Strike will only be available to Gold Members.:D

But that was the plan all along. The first run of Laser Strikes will only be available to gold members.
