3 days and nothing new... maybe we are designed out?

If I may be so bold and speaking as someone with 30+ years in the ad biz...

Maybe it is time for Spark to pick his 3? 5? 10? favorites and contact the designers to discuss how to tweak them to his liking.
Whether to discuss that here or in emails is up to Spark... since it is a contest maybe email would be better?

As for my designs, while they are only in black and white... adding color isn't a problem.
A good design works in B&W first, color is like seasoning.
Or switching the knives around...
If you want to see the logos on coffee cups, t-shirts or aircraft carriers I can do that too

Too right my man!!! Every logo Paul Rand ever designed
worked first in black and white!!! And he also never did more than one "solution"
There are many great designs here, but b&w has to work well and scale first! Priority número uno!

And if you don't know who Paul Rand is then you're not a graphic designer!!

I like this one a lot. The knife silhouette could maybe be a bit more defined though, but so far this is my favorite.

I really liked how the word "Blade" came out, but I noticed the first three letters of "Forum" in that font reminded me of "Ford".

So, here are a few more.

more modern based on previous design.... colors with green/grey... easy to reduce to black white.

I believe it is still going until you see Spark post a winner. If you read over the thread you will get a good idea of what he is looking for and which designs are the favorites so far.
