Last Folder Purchase

If you don't mind waiting and cost is not a worry check out the smaller Yuna's,M390 steel, one of the best and a variety of handle scales to choose from. In the mean time get a Spyderco, you may never want to trade up.

thanks for the laugh hahahahah i think this piece of garage is the last thing on his list. but that was hilarious!

If that one is garbage, then I have a landfill of a collection!

I guess that makes me a hoarder?

I wouldn't have it any other way. :D

Agreeing with Tony i'd also like to add that regrinding in order to meet your length requirement should be looked at. This will obviously open up the field quite a bit. I have several knives with good size handles / stubbyish blades and it works for me.

Yeah, do this.
Sebenza 21 - Small 2.87" $350.00
The OP wants to stay below 3" blade, and this knife is perfect. No need for a custom unless he wants to spend the money for something unique.

If you need to be below 2.75" - there are some options:
The Fallkniven TK3 and FH9 models. The FH9 comes in maroon Micarta and the FH9 BH in black Micarta - none of these knives looks threatening.
They are two hand openers.
You might also look at the Mcusta knives with damascus blades and/or damascus steel handles. They also have some with plainer stainless steel handles. There are a number of options in the knives with blades under 70mm. The smaller Mcusta knives are not heavy duty, if you need that.
Also check out Moki.
If you can be <3" and can be at 2.9", then their are a number of Benchmade knives you can consider.
