My suggestion:

Combine the votes on both bombs and the votes on bowtie and short banner. Sounds fair to me.

You short-bombers only have a couple days left to swing the vote your way. I went for the bowtie but in hindsight would change my vote to the short-bomb.

Sooo... let's see...

(1) the bomb shields haven't been used on a CSC stockman previously so this would be something new. The bowtie has already been used on a CSC stockman for another forum and it's not really original.

(2) the bomb shield fits nicely. the bowtie shield is too close to the center pin. Also typically the bowtie shield would be placed above the center pin, not to the side.

(3) short and long bombs were used on stock knives made by Schrade and would be a fitting tribute to CSC's roots. The bowtie shield was typically used by Schrade on equal end patterns, not serpentine patterns like this one

However, I think if there was another vote short bomb would win by a mile assuming the long bombers got onto it.
